Victorian Fair

Saturday & Sunday, April 30 & May 1

• 1 to 5 p.m. both days
• Free—but bring spending money for food and shopping
• Victorian dress is encouraged!

• No pets allowed. Only certified service animals are permitted. 

Ladies, gentlemen, and children of all ages are invited to travel back in time to participate in a lively Victorian Fair on the beautiful grounds of the Homestead Museum. 

Visitors will enjoy:

• Live music by the Philadelphia Quadrille Band
• Period dance demonstrations and lessons by Yesteryear Dancers
• Tintype photography by Tin Machina
• Sew Cranky's hand-cranked sewing machines
• Historic house tours
• Academy of Genteel Behavior with Walter Nelson and Sheila Murphy-Nelson 
• Food preservation with Ernest Miller of Rancho La Merced Provisions
• Whittier Area Audubon Society
• Diet of Victorian America with Richard Foss (Saturday only)
• Pie-eating contests (Saturday only)
• Fashion shows (Saturday only)
• Talks about Victorian taxidermy with Allis Markham (Sunday only)
• Talks about Victorian spiritualism with Misty Lee (Sunday only)
• Baseball games (Sunday only)
• Crafts, food trucks, shopping, and much more!

• Free—but bring spending money for food and shopping
• 1920s dress is encouraged and Prohibition will be strictly enforced!
• Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
• No pets allowed. Only certified service animals are permitted.

Dig out your glad rags and join us for a weekend of great fun! Celebrate the Roaring Twenties as you enjoy music, dancing, silent films, crafts, historic house tours, games, demonstrations, and more!
