  • Can I take pictures for a special occasion at the museum?
    Yes! If you are using a professional photographer to take photos for your wedding, quinceañera, graduation, anniversary, or just because, reservations are required. Photos are only permitted in certain areas and fees apply. Please contact the front office at 626-968-8492 Wednesday-Sunday between 12-4 p.m. for further information.
  • When is the museum open for public tours?
    The museum is open for FREE public tours every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday except for the 4th weekend of the month. Tours sizes are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are needed unless there are 10 or more members of your group. The only way to see the museum is on a guided tour. Tours of the Workman House are offered at 12 & 2 p.m. Tours of La Casa Nueva are offered at 1 & 3 p.m. You can visit the family cemetery El Campo Santo, seven days a week from 9-5 p.m. For groups of 10 or more, we request that you schedule a tour. Scheduled group visits can be provided any day of the week between 10 a.m.-Noon. To schedule a visit for your school, club, or organization, please contact Steve Dugan.
  • How do I access your research library and/or collection?
    Our collection of over 30,000 objects is searchable online here. If you would like to see something in person, please contact Museum Director Paul Spitzerri at p.spitzerri@homesteadmuseum.org to make an appointment.

The museum invites visitors to explore what life was like in this region from the days of the Mexican ranchos to the Roaring Twenties. The museum is owned and funded by the City of Industry and managed by Historical Resources, Inc.
